Jesse Burstyn is a PhD candidate at Queen's University in the School of Computing as a member of the Human Media Lab.
His research in human-computer interaction lies at the intersection between interaction design, psychology, and computer science, with hints of industrial design.
He has designed and evaluated new user interface technologies in the areas of natural and organic user interfaces, including non-planar and flexible displays, as well as in-air gestural interactions.
Jesse also completed his MSc. at the Human Media Lab in 2012 and received an Honours Bachelor of Computing from Queen's University in 2009, with a specialization in Cognitive Science.
In his spare time, he is also part of the indie game studio Toasty Games, developing the puzzle-platformer Parallax, which launched March 10, 2015.
